About AgriDrupal

AgriDrupal, which is based on Drupal, the platform used for the RUFORUM website, was developed by the UN Food and Agricultural Organization.  It is open source, can be modified, is easy to use, and is free-of-charge.  In addition, AgriDrupal incorporates both the FAO Agris subject categories and AgroVoc more detailed thesaurus.  This removes much of the guesswork in indexing and makes it easier to identify relevant resources, from both within the RUFORUM Institutional Repository and when searching, using tools such as Google, Google Scholar, and CABI.  Go to  http://aims.fao.org/tools/agridrupal/background for more information about AgriDrupal.
