The adoption of the recommended methods of controlling African cassava mosaic virus disease: a case in Luweero district, Uganda

Abstract:
A lot of research has been done on African cassava mosaic virus (ACMV) and its control. Attention now is being turned on the adoption of the currently recommended ACMV control methods by farmers. The purpose of the study was to determine and analyse the consequence so as to come up with recommendations that might help to accelerate the adoption of the currently recommended ACMV control methods. The objective was then to determine the extent of awareness and the level of adoption of the currently recommended ACMV control by the target farmers of this study.
