First Food & Business Applied Research ARF and CRF projects workshop

The Food & Business Knowledge Platform (F&BKP) and NWO-WOTRO Science for Global Development in partnership with the Platform for African European Partnership on Agricultural Research for Development (PAEPARD), the Regional Universities Forum for Capacity Building in Agriculture (RUFORUM) and AgriProFocus Uganda are organising the first regional workshop on enhancing research impact for food security. The workshop will focus on three sub-themes: strengthening knowledge co-creation, the role of SMEs in enhancing food security, and enhancing knowledge sharing and research uptake. It will take place in Entebbe, Uganda from 1-3 October, 2015 and will include representatives from research projects funded by the NWO-WOTRO Applied Research Fund (ARF) and PAEPARD'S Competitive Research Fund (CRF) to exchange ideas, challenges and successes, and learn from each other how to improve the impact of their research. This booklet presents posters showcasing the work of the research projects and provides background information on the workshop sub-themes and the organising institutions.
