TAGDev Inception and Planning Meeting Report

The project inception and planning meeting was held at the RUFORUM Secretariat from 15th to 17th December 2016. The meeting involved the RUFORUM Secretariat staff, the implementing universities, The MasterCard Foundation Makerere, Makerere University and other non-governmental organizations involved in similar activities such as BRAC Uganda, Enterprise Uganda and Restless Development, representatives from the private sector and principal investigators implementing the RUFORUM Community Action Research Programmes (CARPs). Discussions focused on developing a common understanding of the project, its operating environment and the role of each partner in successful implementation; progress on project implementation; as well as challenges and opportunities of implementing this unique project. Specific proceedings are documented in this report.
