Universite De Kinshasa

University of Kinshasa or Université de Kinshasa (UNAZA) was founded in 1963 and officially recognized in 1964, on the initiative of Protestant missionaries. The University was successively called Free University of Congo (1963-1970), National University of Zaire / Kisangani Campus (1971-1980) and finally University of Kisangani (1981 to the present day).The university has the status of a public institution of university education of a scientific nature enjoying a legal personality and subject to the supervision of the Ministry of Higher and University Education of the DR Congo.
