Social Media Report on #RUFORUM2020

Abstract: 
Over the past two years, RUFORUM Secretariat has been advocating for the use of Social Media as a tool for dissemination, collaboration and networking among its member universities and partners. Through the communication strategy, several Social Media campaigns have been implemented including #RUFORUM2020 whose purpose was to promote discussions and reflections on the RUFORUM Strategic Business Plan 2015 -2020. The campaign attracted participation from 56 contributors in 9 countries and reached 70,817 people. This report details the context and implementation of the campaign and shares key lessons emerging from the use of social media by the Secretariat.
